Alex Cooper is ready to tell her most personal story yet in the upcoming two-part Hulu docuseries Call Her Alex. The trailer, released on June 3, gives a glimpse into her life before she became a media mogul.
For years, the Call Her Daddy podcast host has utilized her platform to interview her guests about their own struggles, sex, relationships, and pop culture. Now, she’s shining the spotlight on herself - inviting her loyal “Daddy Gang” behind-the-scenes to explore the moments that shaped her career. The series looks back at her early days as a content producer and sports journalist, and the plot twists that set her on the path to podcasting.
In the docuseries, the 30-year-old reflects on being raised in a nurturing home life.
“I was fortunate to grow up in a household where it was normalized to speak your mind,” she says.

She also speaks of her time at Boston University where she was competing in Division I soccer when a traumatic event reshaped her life.
“I experienced something extremely painful. It was all taken away from me,” Cooper says in the clip as a footage of her walking on a soccer field is shown. “It ignited this desperate rush to find my new purpose.”
Her personal struggles never diminished the light of hope she possessed, which ultimately led to the creation of her hit podcast, Call Her Daddy in 2018 - the most-listened to podcast among women.
The media icon is known for her high-profile interviews with public figures like Kamala Harris, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Hailey Bieber, and so many more. Cooper has been called "arguably the most successful woman in podcasting" by Time Magazine.
Hulu's trailer also teases news about the early days of her podcasting journey at Barstool Sports, where she bagged a massive contract worth approximately $60M with Spotify in 2021. The podcast went wild and was only second to The Joe Rogan Experience in podcast charts before it was acquired over by SiriusXM last year for a deal of $120M.
Call Her Alex will debut on June 10, following its June 8 premiere at the Tribeca Festival. Watch the trailer below.

Harvey Weinstein Will Remain At Bellevue Hospital For Continued Health Issues
By Hiral Patel|April 24, 2025

Harvey Weinstein is staying at Bellevue Hospital in New York City, his representative has confirmed.
The 73-year-old has been charged with and is awaiting trial on rape and sexual assault charges in Manhattan for which he was convicted in 2020, only to have the verdict overturned by the New York Court of Appeals in April of 2024. However, the trial of him will go forward. The civil court judge did not decide on making a more indefinite stay on Thursday.
His health has been a niggling problem, which his lawyers have drawn attention to - pointing to his diagnosis of bone marrow cancer and the attention he requires for that condition. The film producer’s spokesman pointed out that the care he had at Bellevue was better than that at Rikers Island, where Weinstein had been held before. Other reports have indicated that Weinstein has been receiving special treatment at Bellevue, where he was housed in a private room complete with a television and phone.
Weinstein is being retried for a criminal sexual act charge and a rape charge from former production assistant Miriam Haley, who claims he forced her to perform oral sex at his TriBeCa apartment in 2006, and aspiring actress Jessica Mann, who says he raped her at a Manhattan hotel in 2013.
The most recent allegations came from Kaja Sokola, a former model and actress who first met Weinstein in 2002 during a modeling trip. She accused him for sexually assaulting her in 2006. However, according to a recent civil lawsuit, Sokola also alleges that the movie producer groped her against her will earlier, when she was 16.
Nonetheless, Weinstein is already serving a 16-year sentence following a different Los Angeles conviction in 2022 for rape. The trial, which is expected to last six weeks, is viewed as a pivotal moment for the #MeToo movement and sexual assault survivors.
Regarding his health, Weinstein's legal team is requesting better medical care for him.

Ryan Coogler is taking a big bite at yet another major venture, a reboot of the 1993 science fiction drama franchise The X Files.
Following the massive success of his latest blockbuster ‘Sinners’ — which pulled in $4.7 million during previews and is expected to hit $40 million at the box office in its opening weekend — filmmaker Ryan Coogler has confirmed he’s shifting his attention back to a Syfy series he’s been eager to dive into. “I’ve been excited about that for a long time, and I’m fired up to to get back into it,” Coogler shared during a recent interview on “Last Podcast on the Left.“
“Some of those episodes, if we do our jobs right, will be really f***ing scary,” he added.

Coogler, 38, was first said to be involved in the reboot back in 2023, when creator and showrunner Chris Carter confirmed that the two have had conversations about remounting the paranormal drama, while discussions between the ‘Sinners’ director and Gillian Anderson - who played the lead in The X-Files, also took place about the project.
“She is incredible. Fingers crossed there,” he said.
Gillian Anderson played FBI Special Agent Dana Scully for 11 seasons, alongside David Duchovny as Paranormal Investigator Fox Mulde.
‘The X-Files,’ originally produced by 20th Century Fox Television, vented on Fox for nine seasons from 1993 to 2001, before being revived for two further rounds in 2016 and 2018. Coogler established his vision for the reanimation under his deal with Walt Disney Television.

During the past ten years, he has been a wiz at rebooting venerable IP. He began by reviving the "Rocky" franchise with 2015's "Creed." Then, he brought Marvel's "Black Panther" comics to life as one of the MCU's largest critical hits, "Wakanda Forever," scoring multiple Academy Award nominations.
Meanwhile, Ryan Coogler's ‘Sinners’ premiered April 18, the vampire horror movie stars Michael B Jordan in a dual role alongside actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld.
Space, Sarcasm, and Celebrity: Emily Ratajkowski Enters the Blue Origin Debate
By Hiral Patel|April 15, 2025
Emily Ratajkowski talks about Blue Origin in Tiktok video
Not everyone was starstruck over Blue Origin’s latest launch.
On April 14th, an all-female crew—pop star Katy Perry, journalist Gayle King, and philanthropist Lauren Sánchez—blasted off into space aboard Blue Origin's historic NS-31 mission. But while historic for women in space, the reactions on Earth were..mixed.
Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski didn’t hold back, posting a TikTok shortly after the launch, calling the mission “end time s- -t” and “beyond parody.”
“You’re going up in a spaceship that is built and paid for by a company that’s singlehandedly destroying the planet?” she continued.
She also questioned the environmental cost of the 11-minute flight, saying, “Look at the state of the world and think about how many resources went into putting these women into space.”
On the other hand, comedian Amy Schumer decided to show off her humor, going on Instagram, carrying a toy Black Panther in her hand, and joking that she had just been added to the crew. “It has no meaning to me,” she said, “but it was in my bag and I got the text, so... I’m going to space!”

But despite the mixed reactions, the crew—also including rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, activist Amanda Nguyen, and producer Kerianne Flynn—stood by the mission’s bigger message.
Gayle King, speaking at the end of the mission, stressed the strong backing they had received from the younger female fans. “Anybody that’s criticizing it doesn’t really understand what is happening here,” she told People. “We can all speak to the response we're getting from young women, from young girls, about what this represents.”
While some were skeptical, others saw it as one small step for women—one giant leap for inspiring the future.

This campaign marks the brand's first venture into men's footwear, with photos taken by Ned Rogers, who worked with Consuelos during the fall 2024 season.
His wife, Kelly Ripa, first got a glimpse of her husband’s Stuart Weitzman campaign in the November, 22, episode of Live with Kelly and Mark.

As the actor’s latest photos continue to break the internet, it’s clear that Mark Consuelos is more than just a pretty face, whether he's playing the heartthrob or posing provocatively in a fashion campaign.
